Multiplier applies on top of each star's base meso cost (which already varies per star). Modes apply to 15★–21★ only; below 15★ and at 22★+ cost is unchanged.

Destroy (boom) chance per attempt. Mode 1 equals the base rate; higher modes reduce it, and Mode 4 never destroys. For 18★–21★ the success rate also drops at higher modes (15% → 12% → 10% → 8%; 20★ runs 30% → 25% → 20% → 15%).
